I have had Jabras since ages - starting since Elite 65T, going over 75T, Elite 7 Active and then Elite 8 Active. All of my upgrades were forced, as the current model broke down. Elite 8 Active have a completely different fit then Elite 7 Active. It is so different that 8s kept falling out of my ears, no matter which ear tip I used. I ended up returning them and getting Elite 7 Active again.

Shokz open run for exercise, Jabra Flex 65 for office/travel, AirPods Pro for everything else. A drawer to hold all the buds I bought which I don't use (Bose QC Buds, Shokz OpenFit, Jabra Elite 7 active, Anker H700, Samsung Buds Live and I don't know how many buds I have bought and returned).

Seems JBL is the winner?

I have the jabra elite 7 active, they are working great so far and did not get any issue except that they fall from my ears when I bend during exercise. Have you tried Powerbeats Pro ? When will they release a new version of it? I need behind the ears hook kind of earbuds

Sorry to see Jabra stop the Elite line. Feel they should atleast continue to make the Elite 8 active and the Elite 10 lines.

Nice video. Very comprehensive. Price is prohibitive for me. I will probably opt from my Jabra elite 75t to the elite 10 pro Gen 2.

Just an update for anyone considering which to get in 2024; they are both the same price nowadays. HOW EVER, the Z7 can only be purchased on the Lypertek website with "5-8 business day shipping", where as the Z3s are on Amazon with 2 day shipping. So if you're looking to buy them in 2024, don't' consider the price, just the differences, but the Z3 still gets an advantage on the shipping convenience. No idea why the fuck the Z7 isn't on the amazon site. The Z7 is on the Lypertek storefront for Amazon, but if you click it you just get redirected the Z3 page.

I use a pair of Shokz now for 5 years, looking at a new pair. Shokz does offer a swimmers version now. This was a great review on sound quality. I have gotten many compliments about good sound on calls using Teams and noise cancelation. Looking at getting another pair.

You made a mistaken Original APPLE Airpods Pro has find my buds and wireless plug I don't know where you got yours from

You didn't cover call quality which is what I'd use these for.

Hey Andy, thank you, one of the best reviews I've seen in the last days. I had Sennheiser Momentum 3, used them for over a year and had to give them back due to charging issues and overheating while wireless charging. But the sound was crisp and very realistic and that is what I like. Now I think about AirPods Pro 2 vs. Sony XM5 (I am a full Apple user) and besides listening to music I plan to use this daily for my work calls. Tbh I will probably choose AirPods but - would you consider going back for Momentum 4 in comparison with AirPods and XM5?

Did you even try Oluv's eq for the Free Pro 3? That's the main selling point of those earbuds and they're definitely the most natural sounding out the bunch with that eq (ie by far the best)

Was looking at the AZ60M2 following the recent drop in price but I need the best possible ANC and it won't cut it compared to the Bose QC, especially since the QCII and QC Ultra have improved on the original QC.

Great review on the NanxOE Mix. It seems the ear hooks are too flimsy. From what you have said, this flimsiness affects the sound quality and controls. I have four open earbuds and earphones, which I bought last year for my bike rides. Two from SoundPeats RunFree range, and two from Tozo - Open Buds and OpenReal. Your and other reviews have describe each earbuds/phone fairly accurately. The SoundPeats RunFree Lite has hard plastic earhooks that affect both sound quality and comfort for long periods, especially if wearing glasses and a bike helmet. The RunFree and Tozo OpenReal both have flexible earhooks and are very comfortable and similar sound quality. Basically all these open ear phones/buds use similar speaker drivers in various designs. I would say the Nanx could be a little disappointing going by this review.

So I am moving from shokz bone conduction to open ear. I tried the Anker soundcore aerofit pro but the behind the ear piece was larger than the space I have between my ear and skull and after a few hours of wear it started to cause pain. Tried it for a few more days but it didnt improve; but I had zero hot spots on the part over my ear. With shokz releasing the openfit air, I thought I would try those. The do fit better between my ear and skull with the pliable open silicone hook but it does put a bit more pressure on the back of my ear which while it secures the part over my ears from moving it is pushing the speaker portion into the back of my ear and is creating some hot spots. That said I wear these from when I get up at 6 am and wear them til I go to bed at 9 so there will be some adjustment time required but so far a week in to the shokz and will see if the hot spots calm down or if I will be sending these back like the Anker

I hate that its very difficult to connect to other devices. I gave it to my niece as her toy🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️buying shokz instead

Very astute critique. I have to say Andy, I think I'm going to stick with the Oneodio Openrock X. The premium price is worth it. There are just way too many caveats with these particular open-ear buds. Thanks lad.

How does the ANC feature work on an aeroplane?

I had to return mu Sony 720 due to their random disconnects issue. When I was looking for a solution, there is none and it is pretty common issue.

Soundcore has a big issue - conflicting reviews which you can split into 2 groups: sponsored are unrealistically positive, unsponsored are not that favourable (even really negative). It is really suspicious and looking into Anker history (their Eufy controversy), I don't trust anything they sponsor.

Think we have similar ears 🤔 when you turn your head even a bit the other ear isn't visible anymore. So whatever is comfortable for you will probably be comfortable for me too
